Busy (In my standards at least)

I have a lot of stuff going on this summer. Here is a list of things:

-Summer school. I am just trying to make my senior year as easy as possible.

-Summer Bible Study. I am hosting one so its not something I am aloud to miss or forget once in a while.

-School Summer Shakespeare Play. I am doing it again, for the play The Taming of the shrew. I am playing as Gremio, suitor to Bianca.

-Advertising the Play. I have been signed up to do that.

-Wingers. I will be working there, to pay my car insurance and cellphone bill.

-Possible Senior Trip. I will be attempting to save up money for a senior trip to head to some european country, most likely Italy. But the class is still not sure if we are going to do it.

-Bad Juju. Is now our official band name. I have not mentioned this band before because I was a scared Little girl self-conscious of what everybody thinks of me. . .oh and Jason. We are: Graeme on vocals, Nate Olson on lead guitar, Jd Morrow on bass, and myself on drums. Don't worry Jason, I will be hopefully taking some more lessons from Bill Hebert. Also Jason, if you have anything to say about starting a band please speak.

-Next Skate video. Graeme and I have been working on the next skate video and taking our time. We take our time because there is a lot to do. We aren't just making skate sections for this one because thats what we did for the last Two. We are adding some comedic skits in between these sections so people wont get as bored. We haven't even started editing, have just been mineing for clips.

-Skate Trip. This is what makes up for us not going to the barn burner. we will hopefully leave after Graeme gets back for is two week long annual training and we either head to Seattle or Portland or maybe both.

So I am excited for this summer to get a lot of this out of the way.

Graeme had a thought. . .

I quote him, "If all sidewalks were replaced with trampolines, would you drive anymore?"

I don't think I would.

Wingers and stuff

I have forgotten to comunicate to people through this Blog that I am not working at Tri-state and never actually was. I am now working at (and have been for two months now) Wingers.

Today I was sitting outside on my break waiting for Graeme to come pick me up. I saw a family pull up and park their car. As they walked inside I saw a very ugly daughter, a very hot daughter, an obese mother, and a convict looking dad with tattoos of all four members of kiss around his ankles. They were the most interesting party of relations I have seen.

Then after my second shift, I saw a blue bus full of what appeared to be convicts, park and walk into wingers. They were clearly not convicts, but they were obviously trying to comunicate that image with the blue bus with grates over the windows.

By the way you wont see me up front, because I am cooking in the back.

I need some self control.

So I was thinking moments ago, I would love to be a more calm of a person, and not so wild and crazy. Now for people my age, being wild and crazy, like jumping on and off of stools is a little more excuseable. But I am not sure wether or not when I grow older I will get more refined or if I will stay the same young Gunn, as opposed to Evan G. Wilson. Its more teen nature to be this way, but wonder if my wild and craziness is something I am going to have to fight when I am older in order to act my age. I see plenty of middle age men act like I do and they are usually youth pastors, which is one of the last things I want to resemble. I just hope I will have a natural calmness and slower going personality (even if it means driving slower on the road and being that old guy). I am a flagmatic so that probably shows a calmness, I guess.

Its been too long

Last night, I was playing some ultimate frizbee and I got two nasty cuts/scrapes. It has been a long time since I have had cuts this bad. So long that I complained a lot about them because I forgot what pain felt like. Or other explanations would be that these cuts stung way more than normal, or I am just a complete wuss. There is no point to this story, but I will say that the closer I have been getting to be senior, and so closer to being a college student, I have grown to really like ultimate frizbee. Its spreading like a sickness.

Always On The Run

Lenny Kravitz' song, always on the run, has got to be one of the sweetest riffs I have ever heard. Easily by far. I just heard it for the first time a couple days back and I don't know why I hadn't heard it before. Before that, I knew I felt a slight void in my life.
