Foreshadowing Joy in Death

If death shall visit this very night,
I'll usher in it's effects despite,
It's bad repute that others call;
What I do not know regard as all.
hence we lounge in our caskets fair,
Forgetting not our seat, our chair.
So here's my joy, to me He gives,
Christ bled and died, so we may live.
