Of the Virtuous Pagan

And Cornelius said, "What is it, LORD?"
As fear had struck the feeble pagan heart.
Commanded to seek, as he'd done before,
To find Peter and be saved well in part.
Loving his King,
Had alms to bring,
Hoping that he might learn his name.
As the bushman hot,
Had the gospel brought,
Cornelius was much of the same.
