Is there such a music genre called blues metal, or is it just metal with similar chords and tones as blues. I don't know, but I'm pretty sure at least Jason give me a good answer.
seems like there would be a standard blues riff/ or progression that would be used, but the guitars would be played more heavy, fast, or more agressive than blues guitars.
the chord progression is similar but i would say no. I would say a better example would be ain't my bitch might be better in progression. but actual bluesy style, i would say carpe diem, but then again that isnt as metally as bluesy. its hard to say. fuel might be a decent example, but its hard to really combine those 2 genres. metallica would be the ones to do it tho.

One of my friends told me that fuel on reload is an example of blues metal. Is this true
